S/S 2020 Jewelry Trends

Spring summer 2020 jewels seen at fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris.

After a long time that I had a lot of different things to organize and handle, finally, I decided to start writing on my blog. And since it is October, of-course we can start talking about the jewelry trends of spring-summer 2020.

The first website I always check when I want to read about jewelry news is Forbes. According to Beth Bernstein on Forbes, the jewelry worn on the New York's runway is often an exaggeration and an extension of what jewelry journalists and retailers see during Las Vegas Jewelry Week. This year is no exception and many of the jewels on the catwalk have been evolving as key directions.

At New York fashion week, we see that minimalism is going away and big/bold jewelry pieces coming up again.

And just when it looked like hoops were forgetting, they make a huge showing on the runway.

Coming to Europe we find transparent plexiglass and stones, such as those spotted on the catwalk by Giorgio Armani, or in metal and colored enamels, such as Marni's maxi earrings; exotic and precious, like the chocker with hibiscus flowers by Versace, or in mother of pearl, like the maxi shell bijoux created by Prada; minimal chic, according to the style of Jil Sander, or bold and opulent like the Dolce & Gabbana circle pendants and big bold chains form different brands. The jewelry-themed proposals for the Spring Summer 2020 are many and there is a style for everybody among them. Of-course as always I will share here my favorite pieces and not all the presents designs.

Among all I can say for sure my the most favourite ones are hoops! And I loved how Armani used Plexiglas glass in the new line. Always something new is more than welcome.
