Palakiss Winter 2020

JewelryAround presented 6 Persian contemporary jewelry designer at Palakiss winter 2020

This year JA started the new year with an amazing news. After the Splendida Persia exhibition in 2017 at Bijoux museum of Casalmaggiore with Bianca Cappello, I always wanted to continue the contemporary jewelry designer from the Middle East. finally I started this year with this event and started with 6 Persian designers from different part of the world (include myself) and presented the collective at Palakiss winter 2020 in Vicenza at the same time with VicenzaOro fair.

I received really amazing feedbacks and we have already several publications. I say this is a great start and success to start it and I hope step by step it can grow and we can create a beautiful collective to present in Europe.

Here is a small description about the project:

In 2016 “jewelryAround” was only a blog about my passion for the magical world of jewelry.

Little by little it became an online gallery that presents middle-eastern contemporary artists and designers, based in Iran and abroad, within jewelry industry. This project is a sign of peace to show that art and design don’t have any borders and we are all together in this.

This collective is not only a place for purchasing unique wearable arts and designs but also a space of collaboration and support and gaining information about the new trends, materials and technologies.

This year at Palakiss winter 2020 have participated:

Ailin Abrishami based in Mashahd & Tehran - Iran

Azad Art Design by Maryam Azadegan based in Shiraz - Iran

Lo'bat accessories by Golnar & Hediyeh based in Toronto - Canada & Tehran - Iran

Masso jewelry by Shiva Ghorbani based in Rasht - Iran

Nazanin Ebadi based in Berlin - Germany

& myself with Nobahar Design based in Milan, Italy.

I will share here some images from the event and later I want to dedicate a post to each of the designers so I can explain in more detail their designs, materials and concept behind their amazing works.
