FLUIDITY IS THE WAY TO LIFE
THIRD PRIZE WINNER AT VENICE DESIGN WEEK
TALKING ABOUT WATER: FLUIDITY, MOVEMENT, TRANSPARENCY, LIFE
OCTOBER 2017 - ITALY
FITWTL is a brooch for every occasion, designed for women that wear jewels with
every dress and are not interested in stones or materials, but rather on the concept that inspired the object.
Starting by a 2017-2018 trends research, I have chosen a round brooch. It is easy
to find, in jewellery and accessories, round shaped details of different dimensions. Moreover, brooches have never been so trendy and versatile as they are at the moment. Stylish in the past, brooches are fundamental vintage objects that represent a sense of nostalgia.
As for the colour, a right combination of black & blue, inspired by the ocean and the sea and in line with Fall / Winter 2017-2018 trend, represents the best choice for my brooch.
Fluidity teaches us to live flowing in a rigid world.
So many things happen in the surrounding world, and so quickly, that we can no longer afford the luxury of reacting to every circumstance. If we react to any cause, our life would consist of nothing but a great drama after another. So what joy, happiness and satisfaction could there be?
We have not been conceived to live this way. We are born to play and have fun, grow as people and spiritually, love each other and love life. By following our spiritual path and growing as individuals, reminding us more and more about who we really are, every moment of our existence comes to life and sends us signals to help us on our journey.
Owning a symbol of fluidity, which we can feel and touch, helps us to remember that staying fluid in a difficult situation is the best choice and that in life in general it is advisable to let the difficulties flow, instead of always fighting.
This is the key to health and happiness.
What is soft is strong.
This brooch is produced in a limited edition, in only 409 pieces dedicated to the city of Venice. A unique water city, of which we could not feel the magic, the beauty and the rarity without its historical bridges that allow us to reach up to its heart. Venice is made up of an archipelago of 118 islands and 177 canals, connected by 409 bridges.
The first line, "TEHRAN", is inspired by my city.
Today's Tehran is a metropolis, a vibrant, cosmopolitan and sometimes complicated city, a mix of ancient traditions and modern perspectives. The Milad multifunctional tower, also known as Tehran Tower, inspires the whole line. Located in the heart of the city, it is clearly visible from almost every angle.
"TEHRAN" consists of a series of rings and bracelets, built with additive manufacturing.
I perfectly know what it means to be away from your own country and city. When
you live abroad, you always have the feeling of having left something behind. Living in a new place is beautiful and pleasant; you can choose your own way and how to follow it. You can experience the thrill of freedom and you can define new beginnings, full of curiosity and emotions. To get to this, however, there is a cost to pay:
You cannot be in two places at the same time.
For this reason, I decided to create the collection "My City", so that everyone can always bring a piece of their city with them.
"MY CITY" is like a capsule collection for Nobahar Design with different lines, each representing a city, with its nostalgia and its traditions.
The Rebirth Of Lotus
FIRST PRIZE WINNER OF NATIONAL CONTEST AT PIACENZA CITY
A JEWEL FOR LIFE CONTEST, A SYMBOLIC JEWELRY TO SAY NO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
MARCH 2017 - ITALY
The battle against violence against women must be fought above all by women. We must never again be silent in the face of abuse and violence, but we must find the strength to react and to recover, just like a lotus flower that is born and reborn from the mud.
A bracelet is the best choice, as it can be worn and shown in any cultural or stylistic context, with religious clothes or even with a bikini on the beach.
White, symbol of start and novelty.
Additive Manufacturing is an energy-efficient and waste-free technology.
This bracelet is produced in a limited edition of only 220 pieces. The reason behind this choice is a tribute to the glorious Achaemenid Empire, the ancient Persian Empire that survived for 220 years. Persepolis clay tablets testify in depth the role of women during that period and gender equality.
The word “nobahar” means "new spring", symbol of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal and regrowth.*
In Zen Buddhism, an ensō (円相 , "circle") is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. Ensō exemplifies the various dimensions of the Japanese wabi-sabi perspective and aesthetic: asymmetry, irregularity, simplicity, freedom and tranquility.**
