Nobahar Design Milano - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
At Nobahar Design, we want to ensure that our customers have all the information they need to make informed decisions. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers:
How are Nobahar Design pieces made?
All designs are created by Sogand Nobahar and finished by hand in Italy. Our jewelry uses SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) nylon, 925 silver, and mixed media; our collect pieces extend those materials into sculptural wall art/objects; and our digital editions (prints, wallpapers, studio visuals) are original works designed, photographed, or artistically generated by the designer.
Are the pieces one-of-a-kind?
Most are limited runs; some are one-of-a-kind. Each item ships with a signed certificate.
What does “SLS nylon” mean?
SLS is an addttive or known as a 3D printing process that fuses nylon powder with a laser, layer by layer. The result is feather-light yet strong, ideal for everyday jewelry and sculptural forms. Read the quick guide from the studio.
How do you achieve the colours?
We hand-dye with botanical dyes (e.g., turmeric, rose, tea, coffee) when possible; for shades that aren’t achievable naturally, we use low-VOC textile dyes or acrylics, always applied by hand in the studio.
How should I care for my piece?
See our Handle & Care page for quick rules on heat, cleaning, storage, and silver care.
